Vedic Astrology

Discover your Nakshatra.

The sky divided into 27 parts, each representing a specific energy. The nakshatras are spread across the 12 signs of the zodiac and help you understand deep personality traits and emotional rhythms.

Some are entirely within one sign, while others overlap into two. This is why relying solely on your sun sign is not enough.

"The unregulated compass points outward, when it should point inward. A person with no control over their compass is a being who still waits for others to tell them which way to go."

You are both the apprentice and master of yourself. Knowing how to listen to your birth star is the first step to knowing how to listen to the world.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Vedic Astrology, known in Sanskrit as Jyotish, is an ancient tradition originating from India and one of the six Vedangas, the auxiliary disciplines of the Vedas. Its name means "the science of light," as it seeks to illuminate our understanding of life, cycles of time, and human nature.

More than predicting events, Jyotish offers a profound reading of the potentials, challenges, and lessons present in each birth chart, helping you live with greater awareness, alignment, and purpose (Dharma).

The main difference lies in the zodiac used.

Western Astrology uses the tropical zodiac, based on the relationship between the Sun and the seasons of the year.

Vedic Astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, which considers the actual position of the constellations observed in the sky. Due to a phenomenon known as the precession of the equinoxes, there is currently a difference of approximately 24 degrees between the two systems.

Furthermore, the focus also shifts. While western astrology often emphasizes personality aspects, Jyotish seeks to understand Dharma, Karma, and the cycles of consciousness development.

Since Vedic Astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, it is quite common for your sun sign to be different from the one you know in western astrology.

This doesn't mean one system is "right" and the other is "wrong." They use different astronomical references and have different goals within their respective traditions.

In the Vedic tradition, the Moon represents the mind, emotions, perception of reality, and how we experience our lives.

Therefore, it plays a central role in chart interpretation, influencing the analysis of planetary periods (Dashas), Nakshatras, and many other factors.

Understanding the Moon means understanding how we experience the world from the inside.

The Ascendant, called Lagna in Sanskrit, is the sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the moment of birth.

It represents how life manifests, the physical body, vitality, identity, and serves as the starting point for all chart interpretation.

In Vedic Astrology, the Lagna is considered one of the most important pillars of a reading.

Nakshatras are the 27 lunar mansions through which the Moon travels its path.

Each Nakshatra has specific symbolism, qualities, archetypes, and teachings, offering a level of depth that goes far beyond traditional signs.

They help us understand talents, emotional patterns, vocations, challenges, and subtle aspects of personality.

Dashas are cycles of time that show which energies are most active at different stages of life.

The most widely used system is Vimshottari Dasha, consisting of a sequence of periods governed by the nine planets of the Vedic tradition.

These cycles help understand when certain themes in the chart tend to gain greater relevance, favoring more conscious decisions.

Rahu and Ketu are the lunar nodes, mathematical points related to eclipses. In Vedic Astrology, they hold enormous importance.

Rahu represents desires, expansion, ambitions, new experiences, and what drives our growth in this life.

Ketu represents detachment, accumulated wisdom, spirituality, and areas where there is a greater tendency for introspection.

Together, they show important lessons in our evolutionary journey.

Jyotish identifies trends, cycles, and probabilities.

Some experiences have a higher potential of happening during certain periods, while others depend directly on the choices we make throughout life.

The goal of a reading is not to determine a fixed destiny, but to offer clarity so each person can act with more awareness in the face of opportunities and challenges presented by the cycles.

No.

In the Vedic tradition, the birth chart reveals tendencies, potentials, and patterns that are part of the experience of this life, but it does not determine how each person will respond to them.

Karma is not understood as punishment, but rather as a law of cause and effect that manifests continuously through our actions, thoughts, and choices.

The greater our awareness, the greater our capacity to transform patterns, mature decisions, and build new paths. Therefore, Vedic Astrology exists not to limit the future, but to illuminate possibilities.

Karma literally means "action."

In the Vedic tradition, it refers to the relationship between our actions and their effects over time. The birth chart indicates tendencies and experiences that are part of this journey, but it also reveals potentials, talents, and opportunities for growth.

Understanding Karma does not mean accepting an immutable fate, but developing the awareness to live each experience more wisely.

Dharma can be understood as that which sustains our life and purpose.

In Vedic Astrology, understanding Dharma means recognizing our talents, responsibilities, vocations, and the direction most aligned with our evolution. More than just finding a profession, it is about living in coherence with our true nature.

Upayas are traditional practices recommended to promote balance, strengthen certain qualities of consciousness, and support us through the challenges shown in the chart.

They can include mantras, meditation, Yoga, Ayurvedic practices, charitable acts, spiritual disciplines, aromatherapy, conscious use of gems, colors, rituals, and other traditional resources, always evaluated individually.

More than just "fixing a planet," Upayas invite us to cultivate attitudes and habits that foster greater balance, presence, and alignment with our own Dharma.

The birth chart remains the same. What can change is how we experience its energies.

Upayas do not eliminate important life experiences, but they can strengthen internal resources, promote emotional balance, and expand our ability to respond to challenges with awareness.

In the Vedic tradition, transformation happens through continuous practice.

In Vedic Astrology, "Yoga" means combination.

These are specific configurations between planets, signs, and houses that indicate particular life potentials. There are hundreds of Yogas described in classical texts, relating to themes like prosperity, leadership, knowledge, creativity, spirituality, relationships, and many others.

Their interpretation always depends on the full context of the chart.

No.

Every chart has potentials, challenges, and lessons. What initially seems like an obstacle often represents the very path of greatest maturation and growth.

In the Vedic tradition, no placement is interpreted in isolation, and the chart must always be understood as an integrated whole.

No.

The reading is done based on an ancient tradition grounded in astronomical calculations and its own philosophical principles.

Each person is free to reflect on what makes sense in their experience and use the information in whatever way they find most helpful.

The birth time is essential for a complete reading, as it defines the Ascendant, astrological houses, and many important calculations.

When it is unknown, it is still possible to do some analysis, though with limitations. In some cases, birth time rectification techniques can be evaluated.

Yes.

While the birth chart remains the same throughout your life, planetary cycles change continuously.

Many people have an initial reading to understand their birth chart and return later to follow up on specific periods, such as career changes, relationships, important decisions, or annual readings.

The consultation is a space for dialogue and self-discovery.

Based on your birth chart, we analyze your main potentials, challenges, cycles, and the topics you wish to understand more deeply.

At the end, you receive practical guidance and, when appropriate, suggestions for Upayas that can support your current life stage in a personalized way.

Yes.

Jyotish, Yoga, and Ayurveda were born within the same philosophical tradition of the Vedas and share an integrated vision of the human being.

While Yoga offers paths for consciousness development and Ayurveda promotes balance between body, mind, and lifestyle, Jyotish helps understand cycles of time, individual potentials, and the lessons indicated by the chart.

These three traditional sciences complement each other deeply and, when integrated, offer a broader path of self-knowledge and transformation.

No.

Vedic Astrology is a tool for self-discovery and guidance, but it does not replace medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. Whenever necessary, these cares should be sought with qualified professionals.
